One of the globe’s most prestigious producers of luxury boating, Heesen Yachts, has announced the launch of its new bluewater voyager—XV67. The bold and beautiful cross-over model is still in its design phase but is already catching the eye of ultra-wealthy consumers. The XV67 is engineered to travel off the beaten track in total safety and 5-star comfort. The announcement came last month at The Monaco Yacht Show, where Heesen also debuted MY Lusine, its 60-meter full-custom motor yacht.

Whether looking to experience the beauty of the Galapagos or the seclusion of the Arctic, the creators of XV67 are designing a yacht that will take you there in maximum style. When finished, this 67-meter steel-hulled masterpiece will culminate in a seamless combination of luxury lifestyle and rugged adventurousness while immediately becoming one of the most gorgeous ships on the seven seas. Its clean-cut, avant-garde exterior, combined with state-of-the-art sea-faring technologies, is sure to turn heads everywhere while boasting an unrivaled capability to navigate anywhere. The XV67 will allow owners to traverse the globe in elegant accommodations that rival any living spaces found on land. With this model, Heesen is making refreshments to its 57-meter motor-yacht successor, XVenture, on virtually every level.

The owner’s quarters alone are an impressive 3-story span of various cabins, as well as a private deck that oversees most of the ship’s other luxury areas. These amenities will include outdoor areas such as a crow’s nest, cinema, and a large sundeck complete with a swimming pool, teppanyaki bar, cocktail lounge, and firepit. Communal indoor areas are also impressive and will feature a full fitness center, wellness spa, sky lounge flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows, and a wheelhouse ideal for planning the yacht’s next expedition. When at anchor, passengers of the XV67 can play on the open water with modern ocean-faring toys. The ship will also have a dive bay and storage lazarette for smaller maritime vehicles, including the option for a submarine bay and a touch-and-go helipad large enough to accommodate an Airbus H145 helicopter.

Already in 2022, Heesen has delivered three yachts and has twelve yachts currently under construction; it is only a matter of time before we see the dignified XV67 appear docked on one of the world’s most glamorous coastal cities. With a proven track record of world-class hull engineering and design, Heesen allows its customers various customization options, including every new ship having the option to come fully equipped with green-energy hybrid propulsion. Many yachts have a smart-custom option allowing for the fastest possible delivery, or a full-custom option enabling buyers to create a distinct vessel with their personalized taste.

Paul Allen Legacy: Tatoosh Superyacht and $1B Art Collection for Sale

Long recognized for his philanthropy, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen was always extremely openhanded with the massive fortune he has compiled over the past nearly 50 years. In fact, over the decades Allen donated approximately 10% of his $20B total fortune to various causes and charities across the globe. Now, with the posthumous impending acquisitions of two of his most valuable possessions, and with 100% of proceeds from the upcoming auction of his record-breaking art collection going to charity, Allen’s enigmatic travels and philanthropic legacy are sure to reach new and unprecedented heights.

The Yacht – Tatoosh

The first item up for sale will be located at the Monaco Yacht Show this week, where the Paul Allen estate will be making one of the world’s largest and most state-of-the-art super yachts, Tatoosh, available for viewing to potential buyers. Fresh off the heels of an 11-month top to bottom retrofitting, this already prized ocean faring vessel is now poised to become one of the most sought after yachts anywhere on the globe.

With an estimated price tag of somewhere in the 90 million dollar range, Tatoosh will come fully loaded with some of the most luxurious amenities and state of the art safety technologies currently available. Just a few of the amenities Tatoosh boasts include a heated swimming pool, sauna, cinema, gym, and observation lounge, as well as some more functional luxuries such as a climate controlled wine storage, fully equipped scuba diving center, two helicopters each with its own helipad, and a pair of 12-meter state of the art racing sailboats.

Tatoosh’s living quarters also impress, with the yacht’s main interior serving as a two-story luxury apartment on the water. Rich and refined with an inviting casualness, the yacht’s interior design sports an eclectic mix of vintage, curio, and antique furniture and decor. The owner’s cabin is a spacious private residence unto itself, boasting 2 full suites as well as a private galley, lobby, and pantry all secluded from the ship’s other various shared areas and private rooms. With functional luxury always at the forefront of Tatoosh’s design, she is fully equipped to take her next owner anywhere across the seven seas, while always in the most sensational style.

The Art Collection – Visionary: The Paul G. Allen Collection

In what is sure to be one of the most anticipated and lucrative art auctions in history, Christie’s New York is slated to host “Visionary: The Paul G. Allen Collection” on November 9th and 10th at Rockefeller Center.

Valued at over 1 billion dollars in total, this private collection contains over 150 masterpieces, and spans 500 years of work by some of history’s most renowned artists. Headlining the auction will be works by artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, David Hockney, and Georgia O’Keeffe, which is why it has generated such huge international attention.

No matter the industry, no matter the metric, the American economy continues to lead world rankings in both GDP growth and innovation, even after the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted global markets two years ago. Now, a new study published by Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) confirms this trend, showing that most of the world’s wealthiest individuals are amassing their fortunes in the U.S., with an estimated 35% of the world’s billionaires building their enterprises—and their homes—on American soil. This brand-new data set from one of the leaders in private aviation offers remarkable insight not only into the evolution of the global concentration of wealth but also into the industries that are driving economic growth across the globe. Whether it’s technology or retail, energy or finance, U.S. brands and companies have solidified their place as the greatest producers of profit in the world, suggesting the American dream is still alive and well for entrepreneurs with big ideas.

According to the ACJ report, American billionaires hold 43% of the total wealth among the 500 wealthiest people in the world, an impressive figure that firmly positions U.S. business owners at the top of the global economy. Overall, the combined wealth of American billionaires tops an impressive 3.38 trillion, a staggering number considering that the entire group of 500 big earners boasts 7.72 trillion dollars of wealth altogether. Even when researchers compared the average wealth of American billionaires to those of other nations, top earners in the U.S. accrued an average fortune close to 19 billion dollars—over 5 billion more than the 13.54 billion averaged in other nations. Which industry has proven to be the biggest money maker for these successful entrepreneurs? Technology leads the list, with over 21% of top earners owing their affluence to this particular industry.

Important to note, seven out of the ten wealthiest individuals in the world also come from the United States, their fortunes stemming from the retail, energy, and consumer goods sectors, among others. This speaks to the favorability of the American business climate, which rewards companies that compete for bigger shares of the international market.

Airbus Corporate Jets is positioned to compile this data, since their clientele includes some of the most prosperous people in the world. Their assessment is that the business travel industry, which took a hit during the height of the pandemic, has rebounded at an astounding pace, with over two million business flights taking off in the first six months of 2022. That’s more than 15% higher than the same time in 2019, before the pandemic disrupted normal flight patterns and operations. A company that cherishes the American standard of class and innovation, ACJ employs high-end, eco-friendly aircraft to service the most exclusive clients—those setting the global economy in motion. By compiling this study, they revealed to the world that America remains one of the best countries in the world to build a business empire.

Mega Marina: Saudi Arabia's Crown Jewel Yacht Club Revealed

Rising with the swaying waves along the northwestern shore of the famed Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, AMAALA is being built as an exclusive upscale travelers’ destination that will facilitate life-changing experiences.

Scheduled to be completed by 2024, AMAALA’S innovative Triple Bay Yacht Club encompasses a holistic framework to wellness and is focused on three main cornerstones: health and activities, arts and entertainment; and the sun and beach-marine lifestyle.

Grandeur and imagination are often linked with places like Dubai, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and this Saudi backed Yacht Club is no different, seamlessly following the natural slope of the exotic sea and surrounding landscape. The ultra-luxurious development and design will rank among the top yacht facilities in the world, on par those in Monaco and the Caribbean. The project is set within the Triple Bay Marina of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Nature Reserve.

Designed by renowned global architects HKS, the 7,900 square meter yacht club is set to become a comprehensive full-service concierge-style marina with a total of 120 berths for superyachts up to 130m in length, as well as a broad range of amenities for their captains, and entire boat crew. Furthermore, there will be eight magnificent resorts with over 1,300 hotel rooms.

Upon entering the yacht club, maritime guests can take a transport-lift out from the water’s edge to a private sky deck complete with bar and lounge area. In addition to the opulent sky club, Saudi Arabia’s marine masterpiece will feature numerous dedicated rooms for parties, high-end shopping, world class dining, live music and entertainment, and a massive theater. As a tribute to the yachts that will anchor there, HKS also created the clubhouse with a state-of-the-art infinity pool resembling an aft deck. This landmark structure will connect the divide separating the land and sea, allowing modern seafarers to experience the pleasures of both land and sea under one roof.

Vast and futuristic, this Red Sea compound will provide guests with an elegant home away from home in which they can choose to rest, party, or participate in a calendar of yachting and other nautical events. Surrounded by the natural elements, Arabic heritage, and supported by a supreme dedication to sustainability, AMAALA strives to become a center for luxury yachting on a global scale.

AMAALA is indeed one of the crown jewels of the “Saudi Vision 2030” infrastructure project and is essential to the Saudi Kingdom’s goal of becoming a worldwide tourism powerhouse. Once fully operational, AMAALA will provide over 50,000 local employment opportunities and an estimated $3 billion in GDP to the Saudi Arabian economy.

Zeffiro 150: The Crown Jewel of ISA Yachts’ Catamaran Line

On the eastern coast of Italy, lapped by the gentle waves of the Adriatic Sea, the historic seaport city of Ancona bustles with activity. The port, which dates back to pre-Roman times, is protected by an elbow-shaped promontory for which the city gets its name. It is here that ISA Yachts has been building nautical works of art since 2001. In 2021 they entered the expanding powered catamaran market with the Zeffiro 130 and just recently announced the launch of the magnificent Zeffiro 150.

Why Catamaran?

A catamaran is a multi-hulled vessel featuring parallel hulls of equal size. The geometry of this design offers several advantages. Two of the more important advantages are increased stability and shallower draft. The latter grants access to otherwise unreachable destinations while you explore the ocean. Perhaps the most important aspect of the multi-hull design, with regards to yacht-life, is the increase in living area.

Zeffiro 150, By the Numbers

With a length of 150’ and a beam width of 47’ you and your guests will have all the space you could possibly need. The epitome of this is the massive owner’s suite on the upper deck. It features a 602-square-foot stateroom and a 645-square-foot saloon. A private aft deck on this level is the perfect spot for a peaceful cup of coffee in the morning or a romantic sunset.

When feeling social, guests can gather on the main deck which includes a grand saloon at almost 1,200 square feet and a more intimate 700 square foot family room. These areas showcase a cinema, games table and bar. Host an open-air party on this level’s aft deck — at a staggering 2,163 square feet it is the largest continuous space on the ship and boasts another bar, lounge chairs, and a dining table that can seat up to 10.

In addition to the owner’s quarters on the upper deck, the lower-level features two VIP suites and one twin cabin bringing the total sleeping capacity to eight guests. The crew’s berths are also on the lower level, on the opposite side of the ship.

Key Features

One of the first things you will notice when stepping aboard the Zeffiro 150 is the luxuriously appointed décor. Created by the esteemed French company of Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design, no details were overlooked. From the soothing, coastal color palette to the contemporary and functional materials used, every aspect lends itself to an overwhelming impression of timeless elegance.

Situated proudly across the bow in the forward cockpit section of the main deck is a large heated pool. This area is big enough to entertain all overnight guests. Enjoy a comfortable swim whenever you desire, even while navigating less tropical climes.

Any yacht worth owning is going to have a fair amount of storage and this fine vessel is no exception. It contains two garages for a 23’ tender, a full array of water toys and perhaps your own personal mini submarine.

Whether you are dropping anchor off the coast of Monaco or Milos, the highlight of your stop is going to be the aft “beach club” on the lower level. Two hydraulic platforms can be lowered from the port and starboard sides of the ship creating almost 900 square feet of recreational space. With a swimming platform, bar/lounge area and even its own diving club, this component of the Zeffiro 150 is sure to make your fellow yacht owners green with envy.

While the US housing market will continue to soar in 2022 with no end in sight, other areas of the globe are experiencing similar, and in some cases far-surpassing, increases to their residential markets. One such location is Singapore, which in the first half of 2021 alone experienced a $24B surge in real estate spending, while average sales prices during this period rose by a record 4.1%. For perspective, this is more than double the revenue generated by Manhattan’s real estate market during the same time span, and the largest real estate frenzy in Singapore for over a decade.

Ultra-Rich Real Estate

In one quiet Singapore suburb, an unnamed tech-billionaire paid $95M for a highly sought-after property, while in another region a wealthy Taiwanese family who owns a snack food empire paid $216M for every unit of a condominium development. These are just two examples of how ultra-rich buyers are an important driving force behind the city’s booming market, and while steadily increasing prices have some in Singapore concerned about rising class inequalities, this has not stopped wealthy buyers from aggressively targeting the city. In fact, with fears of future inflation always in mind for savvy investors, many are attempting to protect and grow their assets by investing in luxury property in up-and-coming cities across the globe, with Singapore simply serving as the most pertinent example in Asia.

Financial Privacy

There is no single reason for Singapore becoming one of the most targeted and rising residential markets on the globe, but there are certain factors that are undoubtedly playing a role. First, Singapore’s laws allow buyers to use financial trusts to conceal their identities from not only the public, but the government as well. This financial privacy certainly attracts buyers for many reasons, while Singapore being one of just a handful of locations where such laws exist help ensure that it remains a sought-after market.

Declining Asian Markets

Another reason Singapore’s housing market is on the rise may have less to do with the city itself, and more to do with declining markets in other Asian countries. Ultra-wealthy buyers from places like India and China in particular have decided to target Singapore over cities in their own countries due to certain housing markets being ravaged by the pandemic (as is the case in India) or political turmoil (as seen in cities like Hong Kong).

Desirable Neighborhoods

As the housing market in Singapore is expected to continue to rise for the foreseeable future, there are certain neighborhoods and properties in the city that are being particularly targeted by ultra-wealthy buyers.

Park Nova, for example, is a highly sought-after residential building consisting of 54 luxury apartments located near Orchard Road, which is Singapore’s most famous and affluent shopping district. Due to its luxurious construction and prime location, Park Nova’s most spacious penthouse sold for an impressive $34.4M after only being listed on the market for a very short period of time.

Bungalow Buyers

Buyers looking for more privacy and space than that offered by a condominium should consider Singapore’s bungalows (the country’s equivalent to a mansion) which are easily the most luxurious and spacious homes available in the country. While homes of this type are usually reserved only for Singaporean citizens, that did not deter Bungalow sales from surging 83% for a combined $1.5B from 2020 to 2021.  For foreigners looking to purchase a bungalow of their own, Sentosa Cove represents one of the island’s most prestigious neighborhoods, as well as one of the few locations where non-Singaporeans are allowed to purchase. The cove’s massive waterfront homes give way to spacious ocean berths large enough to house residents’ private yachts and allow foreigners a unique ability to network and make business dealings with the most successful and affluent businesspeople anywhere on the island.

Backed by an all-star team of strategic A-list investors and savvy corporate masterminds, Arc is poised to become the first major player in the world of futuristic luxury electric watercraft. With financing by investment companies owned by Will Smith (Dreamers VC), Kevin Durant (Thirty Five Ventures), and Sean “P-Diddy” Combs (Comb Enterprises), Arc’s total funding has already surpassed $30M. With that level of financial backing, combined with the leadership of co-founders CEO Mitch Lee (Crinkle, Credit Karma) and CTO Ryan Cook (Boeing, SpaceX), Arc aims to “electrify the world of boats.”

Although Arc entered the marine industry less than a year ago, they are already preparing to release their first electric speed boat to the public. Aptly named Arc One, this flagship release will set boat owners back a hefty $300k and will be limited to only 25 total units available for purchase. At 24 feet in length, Arc One can comfortably accommodate up to 10 passengers, and serves as the perfect marriage of extreme luxury and futuristic design and sustainability. The boat’s custom-built batteries provide up to five hours of uninterrupted use, while its electric powertrain gives each craft 475 total horsepower, allowing it to travel at an impressive 35 knots (or over 40 miles per hour). Despite this raw power, Arc One’s electrical nature eliminates all the noise and pollution of traditional gasoline watercraft, leaving nothing but water and wake in its place. This versatility allows owners to enjoy their favorite watersports such as wakeboarding and waterskiing, while simultaneously maximizing the beauty of their aquatic surroundings.

Arc One, being a marvel of electric-powered luxury, is far from its only cutting-edge feature. CTO Ryan Cook’s background as Lead Engineer at SpaceX has helped ensure Arc’s crafts take many functional and stylistic cues from aerospace design. Arc One’s aluminum construction and lightweight hull help to create a boat that is as sleek and durable as it is fast and efficient. It is also a constantly updating piece of technology, giving it the unique distinction as one of the first commercially available “smart boats.” Perhaps most importantly, the detail, care, and technology put into the construction of Arc’s crafts ensure that mechanical issues are all but nonexistent, meaning you can spend more time enjoying your boat, and less time maintaining it.

Arc CEO Mitch Lee knows that manufacturing electric boats has proven challenging for companies who have attempted it in the past. He explains that supply chain issues have made electric speedboat production too expensive to be financially viable, but adds that the infusion of cash provided by Arc’s impressive list of investors is allowing them to produce watercraft that can be priced competitively among traditional gas-powered vessels. While Arc plans to eventually have an entire fleet of boats made up of different styles and price points, the limited-edition Arc One will set the stage for mass-market electric speedboats, while also serving as an ultra-elite watercraft in a class of its own. With Arc One deliveries scheduled to begin this Spring, the time is now to own and enjoy the future of water-based luxury.

Madrigale is sporty and form-fitting, weather-resistant and versatile, encapsulating both elegance and ease. The Mandurino is an all-in-one men’s jacket, durable, with removable sleeves for crisp days at sea. Both options will up your partner’s style game and make them feel wrapped in luxury as they embark on this unforgettable adventure with you.

Filled with aerial images, double exposure photography, and breathtaking landscapes, “Nantucket” captures the mystifying beauty of this secluded island off the coast of Cape Cod, which has fascinated the rich and famous for decades. Delivered in a gorgeous presentation box, this book is a rare find, a stirring private gallery of one of America’s most enchanting destinations. The market for superyachts is full of impressive vessels, vying for attention from the world’s wealthiest and most discerning buyers. Each new model raises the bar with cutting-edge amenities and innovative features that enhance passengers’ cruising experience on the high seas. Recently, nautical engineers have emphasized creating environmentally conscious vehicles from composite materials, building blocks that facilitate smoother sailing and longer journeys. One such vessel hails all the way from the United Arab Emirates, produced by the widely reputed company Gulf Craft. The Majesty 175 just debuted in Dubai Harbor, although its release has been anticipated since the design’s announcement at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2016. Judging by its unique materials and sleek design, this formidable ship is already living up to its name.

With its multi-deck construction and lightweight materials, The Majesty 175 represents an exciting new chapter in boating architecture. The vessel clocks in at a sizable 54 meters in length, with a beam that is 9.6 meters long, making it the largest yacht made out of composite materials on the market today. Gulf Craft built all 780 tons of the boat’s body in the United Arab Emirates, which is quickly becoming the center of the superyacht universe, and the vessel can reach speeds up to 16.5 knots, despite its towering size. What makes The Majesty 175 particularly enticing for superyacht aficionados is that it can cruise in low draft areas, allowing it to sail even closer to beaches and shallow areas. That allows for some serious recreation on the cusp of both land and sea, making it the best ocean vehicle for those who still love to spend time on the beach.

Besides its composite design and agile steering, The Majesty 175 is also beautiful to look at. The spacious interiors, which can house up to 10 crew members, as well as the ship’s exteriors were both designed by Italy’s Cristiano Gatto Studio—known for crafting luxurious living spaces. Massimo Gregori Grgic of The Yankee Delta Studio crafted the boat’s futuristic and economic architecture, which enables the boat to perform some amazing functions. Due to its nimble construction, the ship can traverse over 4000 knots using private electric generators, essentially making the vessel transoceanic. The Majesty 175 glides across the sea with unparalleled grace and spectacular beauty; it is a masterpiece of nautical engineering and a step forward for the future of superyacht innovation.

This is far from the first time Gulf Craft has made giant leaps in boating technology. The manufacturer has crafted over 10,000 boats for high-end clients and is quickly becoming a leading hub and manufacturer of luxury superyachts worldwide. Their impressive range of vessels, some of which are as small as 31 feet or as large as 175 feet in length, become the envy of seafarers from all over the world. And their latest creation, The Majesty 175, is bound to make waves when it pulls into any harbor.

Mega Yacht Concept Resembles the Streets of Monaco

A sovereign city-state located in the French Riviera, Monaco is known as a “billionaire’s playground” for its lavish lifestyle, beautiful architecture, high-end casinos, and love for its famous annual street circuit race, The Monaco Grand Prix. The city also draws thousands of tourists every year, looking to soak in the stunning Mediterranean views and take a yacht ride through one of its many gorgeous harbors. Recently, Yacht Island Design, a boating design firm known for its out-of-this-world yacht concepts, has taken on a new project inspired by this French paradise’s luxury appeal, and there’s no other idea quite like it on the market today.

The Streets of Monaco is a 508-foot-long superyacht concept that has all the amenities of this beloved French province, wrapped into one over-the-top vessel. If built, it can house up to 16 guests and a crew of 70 to ensure a top-notch, individualized service experience for everyone onboard—all while cruising at a comfortable 15 mph at sea. What distinguishes this boat design from the rest, however, isn’t just its Mediterranean-style façade or its impressive size. The Streets of Monaco will deliver just what its name suggests—all the comforts and beauty of Monaco, including an onboard casino, racetrack, and stylized interiors that mimic the city’s iconic surroundings.

High Life on the High Seas

When it goes into production, this imposing yacht will be from top to bottom an homage to the sumptuous beauty of Monaco. All of the must-see landmarks have been integrated into the boat’s clever design. Rooms inspired by everything from the Hotel de Paris to Lowes Hotel to the Monte Carlo Casino can be found throughout the vessel’s sprawling interior, and the Grand Atrium and Oasis areas offer airy foyer-like spaces that center the vessel’s living space and make passengers feel as though they never left land. The boat’s four decks contain a variety of living areas, each with Monaco-inspired interior designs, with lavish colors and ornate decorations that offer a slice of paradise and amazing ambience while away at sea.

The deck of the ship is home to several sparkling swimming pools, overlooking the high seas, and of course, what over-the-top yacht wouldn’t come equipped with a helipad and a tennis court? Perhaps The Streets of Monaco’s most innovative concept, though, is its indoor racetrack, which allows up to three passengers to get out their checkered flags, hop in a go-kart, and race each other to their heart’s content. The boat’s exterior also reflects the towering roadways of Monaco, with its white colonnades, soaring arches, and castle-like structures. Inside, passengers can also ascend from the pool area via a marble staircase up to the ship’s spa area, where everyone onboard can melt their cares away with a massage or time in the sauna. This yacht concept—a marvel of modern engineering—is for owners who want to turn heads, and spark imaginations, while sailing into any harbor.

A Billion Dollar Investment

The Streets of Monaco may look like an extension of this celebrated French province adrift at sea, but its staggering price tag is also reflective of the high-end residents and clientele who live there. At a staggering one billion dollar estimated production cost, this superyacht is only for the most well-to-do investors, who want to spend some serious time away from the cares of land-living and get lost at sea—if only for a while. Purchasing this yacht is like buying a floating estate, however, offering a dance hall, thousands of square feet of cozy living space, and sundecks with private jacuzzis, among other things. For the world’s wealthiest—and luckiest—patrons, this Monaco dreamboat, and all of its stunning features, can become an enviable, larger than life reality.
